A native New Yorker, Kristina identifies as half Chinese-Indonesian and half Caucasian American. She is a Ph.D. candidate in the department of social and cultural anthropology at KU Leuven in Flanders, Belgium. Kristina has also worked in education for over five years in international, private and charter schools as a teacher, administrator and consultant. She has spent multiple years living in the SWANA region and contributed to multiple DEI projects. Finally, Kristina is the co-founder of Mixed Race Meditation Group, which is a safe space for mixed-race identified individuals to explore trauma surrounding their identity and to heal internalised oppression and white supremacy.
